Connect Zoom to RevvTik

Each salesperson connects their own Zoom account. There is no organisation-wide or admin-level Zoom login in RevvTik — you authorise the Zoom user that owns the cloud recordings you want analysed. This guide walks through connect, sync, disconnect, reconnect, and uninstall flows step by step.

Before You Start

Confirm the following before connecting:

  • Zoom must be enabled by your workspace admin (Admin → Settings → Platform connections → allow salesperson connections).
  • You must use the Zoom account that owns the cloud recordings for the meetings you want analysed.
  • Cloud Recording must be enabled in Zoom for those meetings.
  • Sign in to RevvTik using the account that should receive the recordings.

Connect Zoom in 4 Steps

Step 1 — Open Platform Connections

Open Salesperson Dashboard → Settings → Platform Connections.

Step 3 — Review the disclosure

Read the permission disclosure (what RevvTik accesses and why), then click Continue to Zoom.

Step 4 — Authorize in Zoom

Sign in on Zoom's OAuth consent screen with the account that owns your recordings, then approve the requested permissions. Zoom redirects you back to RevvTik when authorization completes.

Expected result:

  • Status changes to Connected.
  • Your connected Zoom email becomes visible on the tile.
  • Automatic recording synchronization becomes active for future cloud recordings.

What Happens After Authorization

  1. User clicks Connect Zoom in RevvTik.
  2. Zoom displays the OAuth authorization screen.
  3. User approves the requested permissions.
  4. Zoom redirects back to RevvTik.
  5. RevvTik securely stores authorization credentials for that user.
  6. Future Zoom cloud recordings can automatically synchronize into RevvTik.
  7. User may disconnect at any time from Platform Connections.

What RevvTik Accesses

The Zoom consent screen lists the exact scopes for your deployment. RevvTik uses them only to run the coaching pipeline — not for unrelated mail, chat, or files:

  • User profile (read-only) — verify which Zoom account is linked to your RevvTik user.
  • Cloud recordings (read-only) — download meeting recordings for transcription and AI coaching (transcription is handled by RevvTik's transcription provider, not Zoom transcripts).
  • Past meeting participants (read-only) — identify external participants so we can suggest or set the prospect on your calls.

RevvTik does not access:

  • Zoom chat messages
  • Zoom contacts
  • Zoom whiteboards
  • Zoom files unrelated to recordings
  • Real-time meeting content

Automatic Recording Sync

After you connect, completed meetings with cloud recording enabled can flow through RevvTik automatically:

Meeting ends
Zoom generates cloud recording
Recording becomes available
RevvTik detects recording
Recording download
Transcription
AI analysis
Scorecards & coaching

You can monitor ingestion status from Uploads → Sync Queue while recordings are waiting for Zoom or being processed in RevvTik.

Why Don't Recordings Appear Immediately?

Zoom usually requires additional time to generate cloud recordings after a meeting ends. RevvTik can only begin processing after Zoom makes the recording available.

Depending on recording size and Zoom processing time, synchronization may take several minutes. This is expected behavior and does not indicate a problem with the integration.

If a recording still does not appear after a reasonable wait, confirm cloud recording was enabled on the meeting and that you connected the same Zoom user that hosted it.

Disconnect Zoom

  1. Open Salesperson Dashboard → Settings.
  2. Open Platform Connections.
  3. On the Zoom tile, click Disconnect.
  4. Confirm in the dialog when prompted.

Expected result:

  • OAuth credentials are removed from RevvTik.
  • Future recording synchronization stops.
  • Existing processed calls remain available in your workspace.

Reconnect Zoom

  1. Open Platform Connections in Settings.
  2. Click Connect Zoom again.
  3. Complete the Zoom authorization flow.
  4. Sync resumes automatically for new cloud recordings.

Uninstall RevvTik from Zoom Marketplace

If you remove RevvTik from your Zoom account or uninstall the app from the Zoom Marketplace:

  • Zoom sends a deauthorization event to RevvTik.
  • RevvTik automatically disconnects the integration for that user.
  • Stored Zoom authorization credentials are removed.
  • Future synchronization stops.

You can reconnect at any time by completing the authorization flow again from Platform Connections. Existing processed calls in RevvTik are not deleted solely because you uninstalled the Zoom app.

Zoom Integration FAQ

Why does RevvTik require Zoom permissions?

RevvTik requests only the permissions required to discover cloud recordings, download recordings for transcription, identify meeting participants, and associate recordings with the correct salesperson account.

Does RevvTik access meetings in real time?

No. RevvTik processes completed cloud recordings after a meeting has ended and Zoom has made the recording available.

Why is my recording still processing?

Zoom may still be generating the cloud recording. RevvTik begins download and processing only after Zoom makes the file available, which can take several minutes depending on meeting length and recording size. Check the Sync Queue on the Uploads page for status.

Can RevvTik see all recordings in my Zoom account?

RevvTik can access recordings and related metadata available through the permissions granted during OAuth authorization.

What happens after I connect Zoom?

Once connected, RevvTik can automatically discover new cloud recordings associated with your Zoom account and process them according to your workspace settings and plan limits.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

RevvTik automatically disconnects the integration and removes stored authorization credentials when Zoom sends a deauthorization event. Future synchronization stops until you reconnect.

Can I reconnect later?

Yes. Open Platform Connections and click Connect Zoom to complete authorization again. Sync resumes for new recordings after you reconnect.

Does RevvTik use my recordings to train AI models?

No. Customer recordings, transcripts, analyses, scorecards, and coaching outputs are not used to train RevvTik models or third-party foundation models.

Where is customer data stored?

Customer data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure used to operate the RevvTik platform. Audio recordings are deleted after transcription processing completes.

How do I revoke RevvTik access from Zoom?

You can disconnect Zoom from Salesperson Dashboard → Settings → Platform Connections, or revoke access directly from your Zoom account's connected-apps or Marketplace settings.
