How scoring works
RevvTik turns a transcript into a handful of dimension scores, then rolls those up into the number you see on a call. None of this is magic, it's a rubric executed by a model, same as a human coach would use markers from the conversation.
The five dimensions
For each call we try to produce scores from 0–100 (or N/A when the transcript doesn't contain enough signal to grade fairly, for example, objection handling when no objection ever came up).
- Qualification: Did the rep surface need, fit, urgency, timeline, decision-makers, budget where it makes sense, and disqualify honestly when it's not a fit? Early-stage calls can treat an unexplored budget more gently so you aren't punished for a conversation that wasn't supposed to go there yet.
- Discovery: Situation, pain, impact, listening, summaries, and whether the pitch landed too early.
- Objection handling: Only scored when objections actually appear: acknowledge, clarify, validate, reframe, resolve, and tone.
- Next-step control: Concrete next step, owner, timing, deliverables, mutual buy-in, momentum.
- Follow-up clarity: Why a follow-up exists, commitments, timing, mutual agreement, prospect buy-in, language.
How the headline "overall" is built
The model also computes an internal blend that depends on call type (e.g. a "closing" call weights objections more than a pure discovery call). What you usually see in the product, though, is the average of the five dimension scores on that call, unless RevvTik Ops has set a manual override after a review. If something looks off, open the call and compare the per-parameter numbers to the overall; that's the fastest sanity check.
Can my admin turn rubric items on or off?
No - not in the app today. Every workspace gets the same five scoring dimensions above. There isn't a settings screen to rename them, change their order, drop one from the rubric, or dial per-dimension weights for evidence. The database still stores one row per dimension per tenant (for joins and display), but that's plumbing, not something you customise from the admin dashboard.
Where to read more in the app
On a call, use the footer link How this score is calculated (opens this area of the docs) and Need help? on non-admin accounts to reach the in-app explainer and optional request to your admin if you still disagree with a score.
